1. Access data and hosting

You can visit our websites without providing any personal information. This access data is evaluated solely for the purpose of ensuring the smooth operation of the site and improving our offering. This serves to safeguard our legitimate interests in the correct presentation of our offering, which prevail in the context of a balancing of interests.
All access data is deleted no later than seven days after the end of your visit to the site.

The services for hosting and displaying the website are partly provided by our service providers on our behalf. Unless otherwise stated in this privacy policy, all access data and all data collected in the forms provided on this website are processed on their servers. If you have any questions about our service providers and the basis of our cooperation with them, please contact us using the contact details provided in this privacy policy.

Our service providers are based in and/or use servers in the following countries, for which the Federal Council has determined an adequate level of data protection by resolution: USA, Canada, New Zealand, Japan, United Kingdom.

The adequacy decision for the USA serves as the basis for third-country transfers, provided that the respective service provider is certified. Until certification by our service providers, data transfers will continue to be based on the following: Standard data protection clauses of the European Commission.

Our service providers are located and/or use servers in the following countries: Australia, India, Singapore.
The Federal Council has not determined that these countries have an adequate level of data protection. Our cooperation is based on: Standard data protection clauses of the European Commission.

After complete processing of the contract, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after expiry of the tax and commercial law retention periods, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use your data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this statement.

This serves the purpose of fulfilling the contract in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. In some cases, the payment service providers themselves collect the data necessary for processing the payment, e.g., on their own website or via a technical integration in the ordering process. In this respect, the privacy policy of the respective payment service provider applies.

Depending on the selected payment method, data may be transferred to third countries outside the EU/EEA for which the European Commission has determined an adequate level of data protection by means of a decision. If data is transferred to third countries outside the EU/EEA for which the European Commission has not issued a decision on an adequate level of data protection, the cooperation is based on standard data protection clauses of the European Commission.

You have the option of contacting us using the contact details provided in this privacy policy to express your point of view and contest the decision. We are jointly responsible with Trusted Shops for sending out requests for reviews and for collecting and displaying review and status information.

6. Cookies and other technologies

6.1 General information

In order to make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use technologies including so-called cookies on various pages. Cookies are small text files that are automatically stored on your device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the end of the browser session, i.e., after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit (persistent cookies).

Privacy protection for end devices
When you use our online services, we employ technologies that are absolutely necessary in order to provide the expressly requested telemedia service. The storage of information on your end device or access to information already stored on your end device does not require your consent in this respect.

Any subsequent data processing by cookies and other technologies

We use technologies that are essential for the use of certain functions of our website (e.g., shopping cart function). These technologies collect and process your IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website (e.g., information about the contents of your shopping cart). This serves the purpose of balancing interests and is in our legitimate interest in optimizing the presentation of our website.

We also use technologies to fulfill the legal obligations to which we are subject (e.g., to be able to prove consent to the processing of your personal data) and for web analysis and online marketing. Further information on this, including the respective legal basis for data processing, can be found in the following sections of this privacy policy.

Where applicable, we also use technologies that are not listed individually in this privacy policy. More detailed information about these technologies, including the respective legal basis for data processing, can be found on the Usercentrics platform.

You can access this by clicking on the fingerprint button in the lower right or left corner of the page.

Cookie settings

You can find the cookie settings for your browser at the following links: Microsoft Edge™ / Safari™ / Chrome™ / Firefox™ / Opera™

If you have consented to the use of these technologies, you can revoke your consent at any time by sending a message to the contact address provided in the privacy policy.

Alternatively, you can click on the fingerprint button in the lower right or left corner of the page. If you do not accept cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

Use of Usercentrics consent management platform to manage consent

On our website, we use the Usercentrics Consent Management Platform ("Usercentrics") to inform you about the cookies and other technologies we use on our website, as well as to obtain, manage, and document your consent to the processing of your personal data by these technologies, as may be required by law. This is necessary to fulfill our legal obligation to be able to prove your consent to the processing of your personal data, to which we are subject. Usercentrics is a service provided by Usercentrics GmbH, Sendlinger Straße 7, 80331 Munich, Germany, which processes your data on our behalf. When you visit our website, the Usersentrics web server stores a so-called server log file, which also contains your anonymized IP address, the date and time of your visit, device and browser information, and information about your consent behavior. Your data will be deleted after three years, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use your data beyond this period, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this statement.

Our service providers are located and/or use servers in the following countries, for which the Federal Council has determined an adequate level of data protection by resolution: USA.

The adequacy decision for the USA serves as the basis for third-country transfers, provided that the respective service provider is certified. Certification has been obtained.

6.2 Information on third-country transfers (data transfers to third countries)

We use technologies from service providers on our website whose headquarters and/or server locations may be in third countries outside Switzerland, the EU, or the EEA. If there is no adequacy decision by the Federal Council for this country, an adequate level of data protection must be ensured by means of other suitable safeguards.

Appropriate safeguards in the form of contractually agreed standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission or binding internal data protection regulations (Binding Corporate Rules) are possible in principle, but require prior review by the contracting parties to ensure that an adequate level of protection can be guaranteed. According to the case law of the ECJ, it may be necessary to take additional protective measures in this regard.

We have agreed on the standard data protection clauses issued by the EU Commission with the technology providers we use who process personal data in a third country. Where possible, we also agree on additional guarantees to ensure that sufficient data protection is guaranteed in third countries without an adequacy decision.

Regardless of this, it may happen that, despite all contractual and technical measures, the level of data protection in the third country does not correspond to that in Switzerland. In such cases, we ask for your consent to the transfer of your personal data to a third country as part of the cookie consent process, if necessary.
In particular, there is a risk that local authorities in the third country may not have sufficiently restricted access rights to your personal data from a European data protection perspective, that we as the data exporter or you as the data subject may not be aware of this, and/or that you may not have sufficient legal remedies available to prevent this and/or take action against such access.

The following countries in particular are currently among the third countries without an adequacy decision (examples):

  • United States
  • China
  • Russia
  • Taiwan

You can find out to which third countries we transfer data in the data protection information for the respective tool used and/or the consent management service/Consent Manager Platform (CMP) used by us.

7. Use of cookies and other technologies

We use the following cookies and other third-party technologies on our website. Unless otherwise specified for individual technologies, this is done on the basis of your consent. Once the purpose has been fulfilled and we have stopped using the respective technology, the data collected in this context will be deleted. You can revoke your consent at any time with future effect. Further information on your options for revocation can be found in the section "Cookies and other technologies." Further information, including the basis of our cooperation with the individual providers, can be found under the individual technologies. If you have any questions about the providers and the basis of our cooperation with them, please contact us using the contact details provided in this privacy policy.

7.1 Use of Adobe Services

We use the following technologies from Adobe Systems, Software Ireland Limited, Ireland, 4–6 Riverwalk, Citywest Business Campus, Dublin 24, Ireland ("Adobe"). The information automatically collected by Adobe technologies about your use of our website is usually transferred to a server of Adobe, Inc., 345 Park Avenue San Jose, CA 95110-2704, USA, and stored there.

Our service providers are based and/or use servers in the following countries, for which the Federal Council has determined an adequate level of data protection by resolution: Canada, Japan, Switzerland, United Kingdom, USA.

The adequacy decision for the USA serves as the basis for third-country transfers, provided that the respective service provider is certified. Certification has been obtained.

Our service providers are based and/or use servers in countries outside Switzerland. No adequacy decision has been made by the Federal Council for these countries. Our cooperation with them is based on standard data protection clauses of the European Commission.

 Adobe Fonts

To ensure uniform presentation of content on our website, data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information) is collected by the "Adobe Fonts" script code, transmitted to Adobe, and then processed by Adobe. We have no influence on this subsequent data processing. Data processing is based on an agreement between jointly responsible parties.

7.2 Use of Google services

We use the following technologies from Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). The information automatically collected by Google technologies about your use of our website is usually transferred to a server of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, and stored there. Unless otherwise specified for the individual technologies, data processing is based on an agreement concluded between the joint controllers for the respective technology. Further information about data processing by Google can be found in Google's privacy policy.

Our service providers are based and/or use servers in countries outside Switzerland for which the Federal Council has determined an adequate level of data protection by resolution.

Our service providers are based and/or use servers in countries outside Switzerland. No adequacy decision has been made by the Federal Council for these countries. Our cooperation with them is based on standard data protection clauses of the European Commission.

 Google Analytics

For the purpose of website analysis, Google Analytics automatically collects and stores data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website), from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. Cookies may be used for this purpose. Your IP address will not be merged with other Google data. Data processing is based on an agreement with Google regarding order processing.

For the purpose of optimizing the marketing of our website, we have activated the data sharing settings for "Google products and services . " This allows Google to access the data collected and processed by Google Analytics and then use it to improve Google services. The data sharing with Google within the scope of these data sharing settings is based on an additional agreement between the responsible parties. We have no influence on the subsequent data processing by Google.

We use the user ID function to optimize the marketing of our website. This function allows us to assign a unique, permanent ID to your interaction data from one or more sessions on our websites, enabling us to analyze your user behavior across devices and sessions.

For web analysis, the extension function of Google Analytics, Google Signals, enables so-called "cross-device tracking." If your Internet-enabled devices are linked to your Google account and you have activated the "personalized advertising" setting in your Google account, Google can generate reports on your usage behavior (in particular, cross-device user numbers), even if you change your device. We do not process any personal data in this regard; we only receive statistics generated on the basis of Google Signals.

For web analysis and advertising purposes, the extension function of Google Analytics enables the so-called DoubleClick cookie to recognize your browser when you visit other websites. Google will use this information to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website usage.

If you do not give us your consent to use Google Analytics, no cookies will be stored or read on your device. The data processing described in the previous paragraphs will not take place. In order to close gaps in web analysis through behavioral and conversion modeling, pings with data (user agent, information about your consent behavior, screen resolution, IP address) are sent to Google.

 Google AdSense

Our website markets space for third-party advertisements via Google AdSense. These advertisements are displayed to you in various places on this website. The DoubleClick cookie enables the display of interest-based advertising by collecting and processing data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website) and automatically assigning a pseudonymous user ID, which is used to determine interests based on visits to this and other websites.

 Google Ads

For advertising purposes in Google search results and on third-party websites, when you visit our website, the so-called Google remarketing cookie is set, which automatically enables interest-based advertising by collecting and processing data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website) and using a pseudonymous cookie ID and based on the pages you have visited. Any further data processing only takes place if you have activated the "personalized advertising" setting in your Google account. In this case, if you are logged into Google while visiting our website, Google uses your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define target group lists for cross-device remarketing.

For website analysis and event tracking, we use Google Ads Conversion Tracking to measure your subsequent usage behavior if you have accessed our website via a Google Ads advertisement. Cookies may be used for this purpose and data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website based on events specified by us, such as visiting a website or subscribing to a newsletter) may be collected, from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms.

If you do not give us your consent to use Google Ads, no cookies will be stored or read on your device. The data processing described in the previous paragraphs will not take place. In order to close gaps in web analysis through behavioral and conversion modeling, pings with data (user agent, information about your consent behavior, screen resolution, IP address, page URL, information about ad clicks in URL parameters) are sent to Google. Your IP address is used to derive the IP country.

 Google Maps

For the visual representation of geographic information, Google Maps collects data about your use of the Maps functions, in particular your IP address and location data, which is transmitted to Google and then processed by Google. We have no influence on this subsequent data processing.

 Google reCAPTCHA

For the purpose of protecting against misuse of our web forms and spam from automated software (so-called bots), Google reCAPTCHA collects data (IP address, time of visit, browser information, and information about your use of our website) and analyzes your use of our website using JavaScript and cookies. In addition, other cookies stored in your browser by Google services are evaluated. No personal data is read or stored from the input fields of the respective form.

 Google Fonts

To ensure uniform presentation of the content on our website, data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information) is collected by the "Google Fonts" script code, transmitted to Google, and then processed by Google. We have no influence on this subsequent data processing.

 Google Tag Manager

Google Tag Manager enables us to manage various codes and services on our website. When implementing individual tags, Google may also process personal data (e.g., IP address, online identifiers (including cookies)). Data processing is based on an agreement with Google regarding order processing.

The use of Google Tag Manager allows various services/technologies to be integrated.
If you do not want individual tracking services to be used and have therefore deactivated them, the deactivation will remain in place for all affected tracking tags that are integrated via Google Tag Manager.

 YouTube Video Plugin

To integrate third-party content, data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information) is collected via the YouTube video plugin in the extended data protection mode we use, transmitted to Google, and then processed by Google only when you play a video.

7.3 Use of Facebook services

 Use of Facebook Pixel

We use Facebook Pixel as part of the technologies described below from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Block J, Serpentine Avenue, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Facebook (by Meta)" or "Meta Platforms Ireland"). Facebook Pixel automatically collects and stores data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website based on events specified by us, such as visiting a website or subscribing to a newsletter), from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms.
As part of the so-called extended data matching, information that can be used to identify individuals (e.g., names, email addresses, and phone numbers) is also collected and stored in hashed form for matching purposes.
For this purpose, when you visit our website, the Facebook Pixel automatically sets a cookie that uses a pseudonymous cookie ID to automatically recognize your browser when you visit other websites. Facebook (by Meta) will combine this information with other data from your Facebook account and use it to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website usage, in particular personalized and group-based advertising.
The information automatically collected by Facebook (by Meta) technologies about your use of our website is usually transferred to a server of Meta Platforms, Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA, and stored there. Further information about data processing by Facebook can be found in the privacy policy of Facebook (by Meta).

Our service providers are based and/or use servers in the following countries, for which the Federal Council has determined an adequate level of data protection by resolution: USA, Canada, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Argentina.

The adequacy decision for the USA serves as the basis for third-country transfers, provided that the respective service provider is certified. Certification is available.

Our service providers are based in and/or use servers in the following countries: Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Brazil, Mexico. As part of Facebook Analytics, statistics on visitor activity on our website are compiled from the data collected by the Facebook pixel about your use of our website. Data processing is based on an agreement with Facebook regarding order processing. Your analysis serves to optimize the presentation and marketing of our website.

 Facebook Ads

We use Facebook Ads to advertise this website on Facebook and other platforms. We determine the parameters of each advertising campaign. Facebook is responsible for the exact implementation, in particular the decision on the placement of ads for individual users. Unless otherwise specified for the individual technologies, data processing is based on an agreement between joint controllers. Joint responsibility is limited to the collection of data and its transmission to Facebook Ireland. The subsequent processing of data by Facebook Ireland is not covered by this.

Based on the statistics generated by Facebook Pixel about visitor activity on our website, we use Facebook Custom Audience to run group-based advertising on Facebook (by Meta) by determining the characteristics of the respective target group.
As part of the extended data matching process (see above) used to determine the respective target group, Facebook (by Meta) acts as our data processor.

Based on the pseudonymous cookie ID set by Facebook Pixel and the data collected about your usage behavior on our website, we use Facebook Pixel Remarketing to deliver personalized advertising.

We use Facebook Pixel Conversions to measure your subsequent usage behavior for web analysis and event tracking if you have accessed our website via an advertisement from Facebook Ads. Data processing is based on an agreement on order processing by Facebook (by Meta).
