Today, the name Elke Plastic GmbH stands for a group of companies with branches in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. In 1972, Erwin Turkovic founded Elke Plastic GmbH & Co. KG in Rielasingen (Germany) and began distributing LDPE film packaging for industry.
Family business
Between 1988 and 1994, their sons Andreas, Thomas, and Axel joined the company and helped to successfully expand the family business.
takeover
In 2002, management was handed over to the three sons and the company was renamed a limited liability company. The company continues to grow under the new management and the product range is constantly being expanded.
Expansion - Location Switzerland
The Swiss branch was founded in 2004. Although much has changed since then, we have remained loyal to the field of film packaging to this day. Our product range includes the complete family of resealable film packaging products. We are now one of Europe's leading specialist suppliers of all types of resealable bags. These include: press-seal bags, pull-seal bags, zip-seal bags, adhesive-seal bags, and drawstring bags. You will find a further selection of complementary products in our product range. Prompt deliveries, expert advice, and always being open to problem-solving are mandatory goals for us as one of the largest importers of press-seal bags in Europe.

In 2016, a major project in the field of e-commerce and online marketing was on the agenda. The old shop was completely revamped and redesigned to meet new standards.
Relaunch 2.0
Almost 10 years after our successful relaunch in 2016, we are once again rising to the challenges of the digital age. With new branding, look and feel, and several features in the areas of usability and customer journey, we are preparing ourselves for the future of online retail.
